2.5.2.1
MINIMUM VALVE OPENING
Due to a variety of reasons (type of installation, safety, extreme temperatures…), some
valves may require
imposing a minimum opening level
, to ensure they always
remain open at least at that level.
MAXinBOX FC 0-10V VALVE permits defining a minimum opening level (i.e., a
particular position) for each of the valves, so the valves never remain at lower
positions, no matter what the OCS value is.
This function also entails defining a
threshold
. In such case:
When
the current ICS is lower than this threshold
, the valve will remain
completely closed.
While
the ICS falls between the above threshold and the minimum ICS
(see section 2.5.2), the valve will remain at the minimum opening level.
When the
ICS is greater than the minimum ICS
, then the valve will adopt
the position determined by the usual valve control.
A
threshold of 0%
will guarantee that the valve is never completely closed. An
additional option is provided to indicate whether this is also required
while the fan coil
module is off
.

:
In case it is set to a value greater than the minimum OCS (see section
2.5.2), then the latter will be considered as the effective minimum opening
.
