Station
. In the field
Related to Trunk
, enter the node number of the SIP Trunk on which the
call shall be sent.
When the SIP User number is dialled, the ICX-500 will send an INVITE message out on the
SIP Trunk containing the dialled number.
Notes on using SIP Trunk Station (feature 9) versus Global
Number (feature 83):
•
Features
: When a SIP User is related to a physical number in
ICX-500, it will get access to more station related features, such
as Ringing Group membership, Call Setup Priority, Call
Forwarding, Call Restrictions and Event Handler
•
Registration
: A SIP Trunk Station does not need to register
towards ICX-500. It will appear as registered in the "Stations"
list in AlphaWeb
•
OPC
: A SIP Trunk Station is supported by the OPC Server. The
SIP user will appear in the OPC Item tree, showing status
information and allowing call operations. When using a Global
Number (feature 83), it will not appear in the OPC tree
•
Licencing
: As from ICX-500 software v. 12.5.3.0 a SIP Trunk
Station does not require any SIP Station license. In software v.
11.x.x.x a SIP Station license is required.
