5.2.1. Configuration of the Station
5.2.1.1. IP Station Web Interface
The IP Station features an embedded web server, which allows users to log in via a standard
web browser. At commissioning, the IP Station needs to be configured to enable it to subscribe
to an ICX-AlphaCom server. To do this, your PC and the IP Station have to be connected
together via a PoE switch using network cables:

Connect the PC to the PoE switch
•
Connect the LAN port on the IP station to the PoE switch
Connecting the PC and the station to a network switch
5.2.1.2. How to find the IP address
Most station models will speak their IP address when pressing a button or activating an input.
These stations are default set to use DHCP and will fall back to 169.254.x.x. if there is no
DHCP server present.
IP Stations in the INCA series will have
169.254.1.100
as default static IP address. These
stations will not speak their IP address when a button is pressed.
Additional tools such as IMT can be used to find IP addresses as well.
