Fault in the LED lilght source
The surgical microscope is equipped with an LED light source.
1 LED error message
If the amber LED is illuminated, the LED light source is in a limited oper-
ating mode.
In this case, the light intensity drops down to 50 %.

Failure concept for the LED light source
Automatic treatment continuation due to integrated failure concept:
– The LED light source uses an integrated failure concept for automatic
treatment continuation without an interruption.
– Individual LEDS are electronically arranged in two independent strands,
where one strand automatically continues to be use in the event of a mal-
function.

