If “ping” worked, try the Start menu, then Find, then Computer. Enter the
name of the
other
computer. Click Find Now. This should find the other
computer (if you got the name right!) even if it is in another Workgroup.
If Find does not work, please review the settings you made during the setup
procedure.
If Find works, then you simply have to wait a bit for Windows to figure out the
network.
Also check that you have at least one drive shared on each computer for
them to show up on the network.
Be sure that you are logged on as “Administrator” on each machine you
setup.
