8.2.1
Setup a Custom Configuration
(1)
The first step is to set up a custom configuration so that the advanced settings will remain visible. To
do this, see Section 8.1: Save Current Settings.

Return to the System Setup tab.
(3)
Select your newly created configuration from the preset dropdown menu at the bottom of the
screen.

As soon as you select your preset, the screen will reload.

Access Advanced Settings

Under Device Setup, check the Advanced Settings box.

Click on the
Save
button.

A pop-up window appears with a message that the settings were saved successfully.

Return to you channel tab to set additional encoding configuration parameters for your stream. See
Section 10.7, The CH1 Tab (Channel 1), for more information on the advanced settings available for
each streaming output.

You can return to the use of limited settings by un-checking the
Advanced Settings
box in the System
Setup tab and saving that to the preset.
8.3
Channel 2 PIP on Channel 1
The FSDI-1XA allows for the Picture in Picture (PIP) of channel 2 to be placed on the channel 1 stream. A
common case is to have a PIP of the IR camera on the stream for the visible video.
