Filling the steam generator
The appliance must be completely disconnected from the
electricity mains!

Only use drinking water to fill the steam generator!
Loosen clip on the hose for checking the filling level
and remove
the stopper. Guide the hose section out of the appliance.
Connect a water hose to the filling tap.
Open the filling tap and fill with water until the water overflows.
Open the safety valve by turning the nut

anticlockwise. You can tell
when the safety valve is open when the nut
6
makes a clicking noise
when being turned. Opening this valve ventilates the pressure vessel
and prevents overfilling. When no more water flows out of the hose
pipe, close the safety valve by turning the nut

clockwise until it sits
firmly. Then close the filling tap and remove the water hose.
Mount the stopper back onto the hose for checking the filling level and
secure with hose clip.
At the filling tap: Unscrew the hose cover and attach the lid.

When the installation work has been completed, all panels must
be remounted!
Emptying the steam generator
The steam generator only needs to be emptied
-
for certain types of service jobs
-
when the pan is being stored or if temperatures of less than 0 °C
(32° F) are to be expected for any reason.
To empty the pressure vessel, open the filling tap as you do when filling
it. Make sure that it is completely drained. For the capacity, please refer
to “Technical data”.
