Mount the 6500 to a Wall.
Attach the two mounting brackets supplied with the 6500 to the back of the
monitor as shown in the picture below left. Then attach the monitor to the wall with screws as shown in
the picture below left. Use anchors if necessary.
Mount the DW Sonde at the Monitoring Site.
There is no right or wrong way to mount the sonde at the
deployment sites. One typical method is to simply set the sonde on a bench or other flat surface near the
water inlet and drain. If a relatively large sink is present at the monitoring site, then the sonde can simply
be placed upright directly in the basin with the effluent hose discharging directly into the sink drain. To
prevent the sonde being inadvertently knocked over the sonde can be strapped with “bungee” cords or other
retainers. For other locations it may be best to hang the sonde by its bail from a hook on a wall or frame.
