The
“
UNLOCK
”
indicator light comes on when the unlock mode of the Yamaha Security System is
selected. The watercraft can be ridden normally when this light is on. The
“
L-MODE
”
indicator light
comes on when the L-MODE is selected.

The left multifunction display has the following functions.

To switch the speedometer display between kilometers and miles, push the
“
Volt/Hour
”
button for at
least 1 second, within 10 seconds after the multifunction meter starts operating.
To switch the display between the hour meter and the voltmeter, push the
“
Volt/Hour
”
button for at
least 1 second after the meter is displayed for more than 10 seconds. The voltmeter displays the
battery voltage; however, if the battery voltage is significantly low,
“
LO
”
is displayed on the voltmeter
and if the voltage is significantly high,
“
HI
”
is displayed.
The left multifunction display indicates the following warnings.
•
Fuel level warning: If the fuel remaining in the fuel tank drops to about 18 L, the lowest 2 fuel level
segments, the fuel level warning indicator, and the
“
WARNING
”
indicator light begin to blink. The
buzzer also starts sounding intermittently.
•
Oil pressure warning: If the oil pressure does not rise to specification, the
“
WARNING
”
indicator
light and the oil pressure warning indicator begin to blink, and the buzzer sounds intermittently. At
the same time, the engine speed is limited to help prevent damage.
•
Engine overheat warning: If the engine temperature rises above specification, the
“
WARNING
”
indicator light and the engine overheat warning indicator blink, and then come on. The buzzer also
begins to sound intermittently, and then it sounds continuously. After the light and indicator start to
blink and the buzzer sounds, the engine speed is limited to help prevent damage.
•
Check engine warning: If a sensor malfunction or a short circuit is detected, the
“
WARNING
”
indi-
cator light and the check engine warning indicator begin to blink, and the buzzer sounds intermit-
tently.
Press any button on the multifunction meter to stop the buzzer when a warning is indicated.
