PRE-OPERATION CHECKS
Before using this machine, check the following points:

Front brake
• Check operation, lever free play, fluid level and fluid leakage.
• Fill with DOT 4 brake fluid if necessary.

Rear brake
• Check operation, lever free play, fluid level and fluid leakage.

Fuel
• Check fuel level.
• Fill with fuel if necessary.

Engine oil
• Check oil level.
• Fill with oil if necessary.

Coolant reservoir
• Check coolant level in reservoir.
• Fill with coolant if necessary.

Final gear oil and
differential gear oil
• Check for leakage. 5-6, 8-17–8-22
Throttle • Check for proper throttle cable operation and free play. 5-7, 8-38
Wheels and tires • Check tire pressure, wear and damage. 5-8–5-11, 8-49–8-50
Fittings and fasteners • Check all fittings and fasteners. 5-8
Lights and switches • Check for proper operation. 5-8, 8-46, 8-54–8-59
Axle boots • Check for damage. 8-27–8-28
