ECKS AND ADJUSTMENTS
2.
Reduce the total wattage of connected electric
devices within the rated output.
3.
Push the reset button for 3 seconds to release the
power output stop.
4.
If you suspect overheating, stop the engine and check
for clogging around the air inlet and control unit.
TIP
The overload indicator light may come on for a few sec-
onds at the first when using electric devices that require a
large starting current, such as a compressor of a submers-
ible pump. However, this is not a malfunction.
OIL WARNING
When the oil level falls below the lower level, the oil level
warning light “1” flashes and then the engine stops auto-
matically.
When the oil level warning light flashes, proceed as fol-
lows:
1.
Turn off any connected electric devices and stop the
engine immediately.
2.
Add engine oil up to the specified level. Unless you
refill with oil, the engine will not start again.
3.
After checking the engine oil level, restart the engine.
TIP
If the oil level warning light flashes even though the engine
oil level is sufficient, make sure to place the generator hor-
izontally.
BOOST MODE
The boost mode raises up the number of rotation of the
engine temporarily (for approximately 60 seconds). When
using devices that require a large starting current, such as
a compressor of a submersible pump or refrigerator, use
this mode.
(Refer to “BOOST MODE SWITCH” on page 2-27)
