Troubleshooting the MA IV
Operating Temperatures and Environments
As a general rule, if it is too hot or cold for you to work in an
area, avoid leaving the MA IV in that area for prolonged
periods. The MA IV tested operational temperature range is
from 32 degrees to 104 degrees F (0 degrees to 40 degrees C).
Storage temperature range is -4 degrees to 140 degrees F
(-20 to 60 degrees C).
Of course, as a body-worn device, you can extend the MA IV’s
capabilities by wearing it under the same protective garments
you wear to extend your own body’s capabilities in extreme
environmental and weather conditions.
