Using the Xybernaut MA IV
Installing the Camera on the Headset
To install the camera:

Insert the camera unit into the Headset on the
opposite side of the display unit.

Route the camera’s shorter cable around the back
of the Headset and into the
DC
port on the back
of the display unit.
Do not insert the camera cable into the
earphone/microphone port which is directly
above the power port. Doing so will damage
the display unit.

Route the camera’s longer cable around the back of
the belt or vest and connect to the CPU:
– If you are using the USB supported camera, plug
the camera’s longer cable into the supplied USB
Video Capture Adapter and then connect the
USB end of the adapter into the USB port on the
CPU.
– If you are using the camera that requires a
PCMCIA video capture card, insert the video
capture PCMCIA card in the MA IV CPU and
then connect the camera’s cable to the PCMCIA
card.
