Installing and Configuring Communications Cards
To install and configure a communications card in the MA IV:

Slide the blue door release to the right and lift the
CPU’s PCMCIA door.

Insert up to two Type I, two Type II, or one Type III
PCMCIA card into the PCMCIA slots.
Typically, the Microsoft Windows Operating System
recognizes the PCMCIA card. However, in some cases
you may have to install a driver for the card and
resolve any interrupt conflicts between cards.
Refer to the documentation that accompanied
your PCMCIA card for information on installing
a PCMCIA card driver and using the card for
communications.

Close the PCMCIA door.
When using some PCMCIA cards that have
antennae, you may not be able to close the PCMCIA
door.
