A port replicator attaches to the MA IV CPU to provide
additional ports into which you can attach peripherals such as
diskette and CD-ROM drives, conventional keyboards, and a
desktop monitor. The MA IV can use three different port
replicators:
• Full Port Replicator
The full port replicator contains the following ports:
USB, Printer, Serial, FDD (floppy drive), PS/2 Mouse,
PS/2 Keyboard, Headphone, Mic, Line In, and
Video.
The full port replicator is intended for using the MA
IV in a desktop configuration.

Mini Port Replicator
(Floppy & Keyboard)
This mini port replicator contains ports for a floppy
drive and a keyboard.
•
Mini Port Replicator
(Serial & Parallel)
This mini port replicator contains ports that allow
you to plug in one serial and one parallel device.
Connecting the Port Replicator to the CPU
To connect a port replicator to the CPU:
Insert the port replicator cable into the
I/O
port
on the back of the CPU.
