Powering On the Xerox Nuvera

Follow these procedures to correctly power up the entire Xerox Nuvera system and avoid damage to the machine and/or loss of data.

Any finishing modules that have separate power on/off switches will be powered on at the time of install.

 

To power on the Xerox Nuvera

The power switch is the white switch located on the right side of the machine. Press the 

(|)

 symbol embossed into the button toward the 

back of the machine to turn the power on. (For the Xerox Nuvera 288 Perfecting System, the Power On switch is located on Print 

Engine A1). 

The Xerox Nuvera system begins its power-up/boot sequence and automatically launches the FreeFlow Print Server operating system.

When the 

FreeFlow Print Server 

screen appears, you can begin printing jobs. 

The entire power on process takes approximately 5 minutes.
