Special Navigation/Activation Keyboard Shortcuts
In addition to the common keyboard shortcuts, the Xerox Nuvera provides special navigation and activation keys. These keys allow the
user to navigate around the user interface and interact with the components and features of the system.
Split Pane
F6
Moves the focus between the panes to first focusable element in
pane.
F8
Gives focus to splitter bar. Arrow, Home and End keys can be
used to move the bar. Arrow keys give fine control of movement.
Home and End keys effectively hide an entire pane from view.
Mode Indicators
Control-D
Shortcut puts focus on first mode indicator, from which the user
can post the tool tip. Mode indicators can include one or more of
the following modes: Secure, Job Fault, Diagnostic, Remote
Workflow, and Logging.
Pause button(s)
Control-P
Pauses the printer or scanner.
Tab Pane
Control-Up Arrow Puts focus at the selected tab.
Arrows
Moves between tabs.
Control Page Up Moves to previous tab, preparing to enter first focusable
component in tab.
Control Page
Down
Moves to next tab, preparing to enter first focusable component in
tab.
Feature Access Buttons (FAB)
Control-Shift-Left
Arrow/ Control-
Shift-Right Arrow
Moves the focus between a FAB and the first focusable element
within that FAB.
Tables
Tab
Moves focus one cell to the right. If the table cells are selected, the
focus should wrap, left to right, top to bottom and then back to the
top of the selected region.
Shift-Tab
Moves focus one cell to the left. With cell selection, Shift tab
behaves similarly to Tab, but in the reverse order.
Return/Enter
Move focus one cell down, row selection follows focus. At bottom
of table, focus wraps to top of column. If more than one cell is
selected, the focus should wrap to traverse each selected column
in turn and then repeat from the beginning.
Shift-Return/
Shift-Enter
Behaves the same as Return/Enter but in the reverse direction.
Up/Down Arrow
Deselects current selection and moves focus up/down one cell, re-
establishing row selection in focused cell row.
Left/Right Arrow
Deselects current selection and moves focus left/right one cell.
Page Up/Page
Down
Deselects current selection. When no vertical scrollbar is visible,
moves focus and row selection to last/first row in table. The
focused cell remains in the same column in which it originated.
When a vertical scrollbar is visible, scrolls the table up/down one
row and re-establishes the selected row as the last/first visible row
in table. The focus is moved, within its current column to the newly
selected row.
Control-PageUp/
Control-
PageDown
Deselects current selection. When no horizontal scrollbar is visible,
moves focus to first/last cell in row and re-establishes row
selection where focused cell resides. When a horizontal scrollbar
is visible, scrolls the table to left/right to make first incompletely
displayed column visible and places the focus in that column. Row
selection is re-established in focused cell row.
Home/End
Deselects current selection. Moves focus to first/last cell in row
and re-establishes row selection in focused cell row.
Control-Home/
Control-End
Deselects current selection. Moves focus to first/last row in table
within the same column where focus originated and re-establishes
the row selection.
