Removal
1.
Perform the following:
a.
REP 1.1: WorkCentre Cover on page 4-3
2.
Disconnect the ground wire from the tab to
the left of the pump as shown in
Figure 4-31.

3.
Loosen the ground wire screw on the
maintenance station, and disconnect the
ground wire.
4.
Remove the two self-tapping screws that
secure the printer to the chassis.
Disconnect ground wire from tab
5.
Lift the printer up approximately 1” and
back about 2”, and rest on the chassis.
6.
Disconnect the cables from the main circuit board
connectors CN10 and CN4 (Figure 4-32).

7.
Lift the printer away from the machine.
Replacement
1.
Place the printer on the chassis, but leave the two
cable connectors on the main board visible.
2.
Connect the cables CN10 and CN4 to the main board.
3.
Move the printer forward, and move back until the lip of the printer
slides underneath the chassis tabs.
4.
Secure the printer to the chassis using the two large self-tapping
screws.
5.
Reattach the ground wires on either side of the printer.
