REP 4.1.3: CIS sensor
assembly
Parts List: 1.1
The CIS sensor assembly sits in a long slot in the
scanner chassis. To replace the CIS sensor
assembly:
1.
Perform the following:
a.
REP 1.1: WorkCentre Cover on page 4-3
b.
REP 3.1.1: Control Panel on page 4-27
2.
Remove the 4 screws that secure the scanner
cover to the scanner chassis.
3.
Disconnect the CIS wiring harness at the
scanner relay board connector J3.
4.
Remove the screw securing the CIS sensor.
5.
Lift the CIS sensor out of it’s slot.
6.
Place the new CIS sensor in the slot, and route
the wiring harness as shown in Figure 4-42.
