Output Area of Finisher

Here, we explains how to remove jammed paper at the output area of the finisher. The explanation is
divided into: “Paper jam at output tray”; “Paper jam at finisher tray”; Paper jam at booklet output tray”.

Paper jam at output tray

The following message will be displayed if paper is jammed. Follow the instructions below to clear the
jammed paper.

Procedure

1

Remove the jammed
paper from the output tray.

2

If the paper is torn, check that no torn pieces are left in the
machine.

3

Open and Close the right door of the finisher until the
message disappears.

If the front door is not closed 
completely, an error message is 
displayed and the machine will not 
start.
