9.2 Clearing Paper Jams

Press the latch on the
lower left cover of the
machine to open it.

Remove the jammed
paper.

If the paper is torn, check that no torn pieces are left in the
machine.

Close the lower left cover
of the machine.

Slide back the HCF to the
right, until it is connected
to the machine.

● Close the lower left cover of the
machine completely. If the HCF is
connected to the copier with this
cover left open, it might lead to
machine breakdown or damage.
● Check that the lower left cover is
completely closed when connecting
HCF to the machine. If the HCF is
connected to the machine with this
cover left open, it might lead to
machine breakdown or damage.
