Main Components and Their
Functions
This section explains the names and functions of every part of the copier.

Document cover
To press down the document that is placed on the document glass.
The Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) is integrated into this cover.

Main control panel
Contains operating buttons, indicator lights and the touch panel display.
This control panel is used in most operations.

Document glass
To place the document for copying.

Copier control panel
Lift up the cover to perform settings in the Tools and Auditron Administration
Mode. To use the Tools and Auditron Administration Mode, switch operation
from the main control panel to this copier control panel.

Front door
Open to clear paper jams or to replace the drum/toner cartridge.

Trays 1, 2, 3, and 4
To load the paper.

Lower left cover
Open to clear paper jams.

Tray 5 (bypass)
To load non-standard size paper that cannot be loaded in trays 1, 2, 3, and 4
(e.g. special paper such as transparency and heavy weight paper) for copying
on them.

Server
Server connected to the copier. Saves scanned document data. The scanned
image data can then be downloaded to the client computer.
