5-1-4 Counterweight dismantling
Whatever way you take, the following has
to be confirmed:
●
Only after the counterweight cylinder
aligns with
“
counterweight cylinder extending
position
”
by slewing turntable can the
counterweight cylinder be extended. Otherwise
the oil cylinder may be damaged;
●
After the counterweight cylinder
is completely extended, perform slewing
operation anticlockwise. Stop slewing operation
immediately when the counterweight cylinder
comes to
“
counterweight cylinder lifting
position
”
. Otherwise, the cylinder may be
damaged by the counterweight;
●
Perform the operation of lifting
counterweight slowly;
●
When lowering the counterweight,
make sure that the locating hole at the bottom
of counterweight aligns with the semicircle
shaped locating device on the chassis frame
reliably, refer to Fig. 5-4.
1. Position the boom over rear of the
vehicle by slewing the turntable;
2. Press the upper end of turntable lock
pin switch (No.3 in Fig. 5-3) for extending
turntable lock pin to lock turntable, at this time,
the turntable lock pin locked indicator lamp
(No.4 in Fig. 5-3) lights up;
3. Press the lower end of counterweight
cylinder up/down switch (No.5 in Fig. 5-3)
o n i n st r u m e n t p a n e l t o f u l l y e x t e n d t h e
counterweight cylinder, and then put the
counterweight on the frame;
4. Press the lower end of turntable lock
pin switch (No.3 in Fig. 5-3) to release the
turntable lock pin, at this time, the turntable
lock pin unlocked indicator lamp comes on;
5. Move the left control lever to the right
gently to slew the turntable clockwise.
6. When the slewing angle is approaching
10
°
, press the upper end of turntable lock pin
switch (No.3 in Fig. 5-3) to extend the pin for
locking turntable, and then the turntable lock
pin locked indicator lamp (No.4 in Fig. 5-3)
lights up;
7. Press the upper end of counterweight
cylinder up/down switch (No.5 in Fig. 5-3) to
retract the counterweight cylinder fully;
8. Remove counterweight slabs one by
one from the frame.
