2-5 Terminology
1 . Lifting capacity Q
The mass to be lifted by crane is indicated
by rated load. It means the permissible
maximum lifting load that the crane is designed
to lift for a given operating condition. The
weight of slings, hook block and wire rope
between boom head and the hook is part of the
load.
2. Radius R
It means the horizontal distance from the
centerline of rotation to a vertical line through
the center of gravity of the hook (without load)
with the crane set up on a firm and level ground,
it also called working radius.
3. Lifting height H
It means the vertical distance from the
surface the crane is supported to the height of
hook.
4. Load moment M
It is the product of working radius R of the
crane multiplied by the lifting load Q under the
radius.

Four areas are divided by the connecting
line between the slewing centre and four
supporting points: over rear, over side and over
front working areas.

device and level gauge, as well as indicator
lamps for various working conditions make
operation safe and reliable.
7. An imported progressive centralized
lubrication system makes vehicle maintenance
easy.
8. Various options are available, such as
jib, auxiliary winch system, single top and tire.
