QAY220 All terrain crane is mounted
on a 6-axle all terrain chassis with automatic
control mechanical transmission of 16+2,
which is possible for manual and automatic
control, and hydro-pneumatic suspension
with good damping effect. Vehicle body may
be leveled automatically while driving on an
inclined ground or a ground that there is drop
in elevation, consequently easy control and
comfortable driving is gained. Driving type of

8) and differential locks on
driving axles make it possible for the vehicle to
drive on a muddy or bumpy road.
Its features are as follows:
1. Compact structure, all-wheel steering
and small turning radius, as well as crab walk
that is realized by 5th and 6th axle controlled
respectively, contribute to flexible traveling,
which ensures a quick access to the working
site. Large outrigger span, stable operation and
excellent lifting performance.
2. Six-section box-shaped telescopic boom
with oval cross-section, made of imported high
strength steel plate, has powerful lifting capacity.
The latest technology of single cylinder telescopic
boom makes 12 boom lengths possible, each of
which has many combinations. The automatic
control mechanism, coupled with the inner
interlocking in the telescoping system makes
boom telescope simple, fast and reliable.
3 . M a i n a n d a u x i l i a r y w i n c h e s a r e
controlled respectively. Variable displacement
main winch motor has high working efficiency;
auxiliary winch is connected through quick
coupling, easy to dismantle and assemble.
Double-slewing mechanism makes more smooth
slewing movement; external gearing slewing
ring is easy to maintain. Slewing buffer valve
installed in the system contributes to free sliding

It is mainly used for lifting operation and installation projects
It is widely used for lifting operation and installation work on various urban and rural roads and in
field environment, especially suitable for large-scale projects such as ports, wharfs and bridges, as well
as other complex operating environment.

1. Job site: during crane operation, the ground should be firm and without the risk of sinking;
