accident occurs
1. Fall from height: first avoid secondary
injury caused by moving the victim blindly, and
then press the blood vessel of main artery on
wound position of the victim so as to prevent
massive haemorrhage and immediately dial the
phone number of emergency centre where you
stay for help.
2. Electric shock: if any part of the crane
contacts a live line or cable, the operator should
stay at his post and inform people around to
keep out the crane, do not contact any part
of the crane, rope or load. On the condition
that no one approaches the crane, the operator
should try to move the crane away the live
line or cable. If it is not possible, the operator
should stay in cab and try his best to notify
the electrical power company. Do not take any
action before it is confirmed that the crane is
safe. If the operator has to leave the machine
due to fire or other reasons, he should jump
off, and should not contact crane and ground
at the same time. Notify responsible engineer
or related supervisor on the job site. The area
around the crane should be guarded by someone
to warn dangerous situation.
3. Fire: when fire occurs, operator should
stop operation immediately and carry out
emergency measures to avoid risk. Meanwhile,
dial the fire number of the country where
you stay in. Rescue with the on board fire
extinguisher can be performed on the condition
that operator
’
s life will not be endangered
before rescuers arrive. After an accident, before
use the crane again, all parts, instruments and
safety devices should be inspected.
When the doors could not be opened
due to accident, operator and (or) driver
may break the glasses with the breaker
equipped in the cabs.
