5. Causes of faults
In the event of malfunctions or errors, fault messages are
displayed.
5.1. Fault F1
Contact fault
No part has been brought into contact and / or the
goldplating bath was not filled and / or the anode is
missing. Rectify the fault and press the
"Continue"
button to restart the process.
Caution:
If the surface to be electroformed is not
properly connected to the contact rod with conductive
silver lacquer, the object will not be electroformed.
However, the unit will not display an error message in
this case.
Press the
"Cancel"
button to call up the "Company
info" screen (4.1.3.).
5.2. Fault F2
Magnetic agitator not working
Should this occur, please contact
Wieland Technik.

5.3. Fault F3
Defective temperature sensor in bath
This fault can occur if, for instance, the plug of the
electroforming is damp or the electroforming cell is
incorrectly assembled. Rectify the fault and press the
"Continue"
button to restart the process. Should this
recur, please contact Wieland Technik.
