When electroforming 1 to 3 objects use the small
200 ml glass beaker with the small anode and the
small magnetic agitator rod and use the inner
contacts 1 to 3 of the electroforming head.
When electroforming 4 to 9 objects use the large
600 ml glass beaker with the large anode and the
large magnetic agitator rod.
2.4.4. Starting the unit
When the
"Start"
button is pressed on the "Execute
tasks" screen, all the individual magnetic contacts are
checked.
At each position the display will show "Contact OK" or
"No contact". This screen only appears for a few seconds
if all the positions are assembled correctly.
With positions showing no contact you can correct this or
press the
"Ignore"
button to proceed directly into the
heating phase.
For correction press the
"Correct"
button to go to the
correction menu.
To
correct contacts
it may be necessary to:
check the magnetic contact
degrease the magnetic contact
check the tag
see section 5.8.4.
If there is no contact error or if you pressed the
"Ignore"
button in the "Check contacts" menu, the heating phase
will start. The position is then switched off.
