The scale up wizard starts. ActiveScale OS disables the DHCP server on the System Nodes and scans
for the scale up kit’s link local IP addresses.
– If the wizard indicates that a scale up kit is not available, check the power-on state and cabling of
each component in the scale up kit and then click Start again.
– If the wizard indicates that the ActiveScale OS or firmware on the scale up kit is newer than the
version on the existing components, stop. Update the ActiveScale OS and re-run this procedure.
For upgrade help, contact Western Digital Support.
– If the wizard finds no problems, it displays the system’s network settings.
