1.1 ActiveScale P100 identification
The ActiveScale™ P100 is a modular object storage system that allows you to scale from either:
• 0.72 PB (raw) to 6.48 PB (raw) of storage using 10 TB HDDs.
• 0.864 PB (raw) to 7.776 PB (raw) of storage using 12 TB HDDs.
• 1.008 PB (raw) to 9.072 PB (raw) of storage using 14 TB HDD’s.
Multi-site systems can achieve a maximum storage capacity of either:
• 19.44 PB (raw) using 10 TB HDDs.
• 23.328 PB (raw) using 12 TB HDDs.
• 27.216 PB (raw) using 14 TB HDDs.
Note: 12 TB HDDs require ActiveScale OS 5.3 or later. 14 TB HDDs require
5.5 or later.
The base configuration consists of:
• Three System Nodes
• Six Storage Nodes
• Two System Interconnects
