2. Press the release lever in towards the handle to release the PSU from the server.
3. Grasp the handle and pull with even pressure until the unit is removed.

4. Record the serial number of the failed device for return purposes.
3.1.2.2 Installing a System Node PSU
To install a replacement System Node PSU:
1. Align the replacement PSU to the empty slot with the handle facing inward and the release tab facing
outward.
2. Push the PSU into the server until there is an audible click.
3. Reconnect the AC power cord.
4. Once the power cord is connected, check that the LED on the rear of the PSU is green.
3.1.3 Replacing SFP+ transceivers
The Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus (SFP+) ports support high density data transfers between the
System Node and System Interconnects at a rate of up to 10Gbit/s. This connection also controls
commands, diagnostic information, and component information to the host.
3.1.3.1 Removing a SFP+ transceiver
To remove an SFP transceiver:
1. From the rear of the rack, remove the fiber optic cables from the failed SFP+ transceiver on the
System Node.
