4.9.10 Muting Connection Box ZFBB001
The muting connection box ZFBB001 is connected to the extension connection of the ESPE. The following
functions can be implemented with the relevant parametrization of the ESPE:
• Confirmation of restart inhibit and override (connection of a button)
• Cascading (2-sensor muting and cascading are possible at the same time)
• 2-sensor muting
• 4-sensor muting
• Belt stop
• Muting enable
• Full Muting Enable

• Cross-connections between muting signals must be prevented via protected routing of
cables. For further information, refer to EN ISO 13849-2, table D.4.
• All connections must be sealed with cables or blanking plugs (to retain the IP degree of
