4.2 Gutter-to-wall anchorage
When attaching the gable roof to the wall, always ensure that the roof fits snugly to the wall to
prevent the gable roof moving on the building structure. This will require bolting the guttering to
the wall on-site using the gutter-to-wall anchorage.
Once the guttering is fitted to the posts, screw the guttering cover plate to the guttering and
then seal.
Then affix the guttering to the wall using the gutter-to-wall anchorage.
When choosing the screw fittings to attach the gutter-to-wall anchorage to the wall, always take
into account the on-site building conditions.
