4. In the MS Function Editor, Ionization Mode drop-down list, click the
required APPI ionization mode (APPI+ or APPI-).
5. Enter the required parameters for the APPI acquisition in the other
frames.
6. Click OK.
Result:
The MS Function Editor closes, and the parameters are now
included as the APPI entry in the MS Method Editor.
7. Repeat step 3 through step 6 , in this case clicking the required APCI
ionization mode (API+ or API-) in the Ionization Mode drop-down list.
Result:
This adds the APCI entry to the MS Method Editor.
Tip:
The parameter values entered in the Time (mins) frame must be
identical for the APPI and APCI functions.

8. Click to save the MS Method file.
