Maintaining the Detector

Loosening the captive screws at the lamp housing base

Pull the lamp assembly out of the lamp housing.

8.

Gently pull the lamp out.

Caution:

Lamp gas is under slight negative pressure. To prevent

shattering the glass, use care when disposing of the lamp. Cushion
the old lamp by placing it in the packaging material of the new lamp
before disposal.
