23� Gate Handing
From the secure side of the gate, record if it slides
to the left or to the right:
24� Fire Department Override
If enabled, write YES in space provided. If not
enabled, write NO in space provided:
25� Response to AC Power Failure
Record whether AC Power Loss setting is set to
AP0, AP1, AP2 or AP3:
26� SmartDC Controller – Batteries
Check batteries for physical wear and corrosion
on leads. Clean if needed. Test battery input and
output voltage via the SmartDC circuit board and
record.

Batteries should be replaced every 2 years.
27� SmartDC Controller – Software Version
Check the software version on the SmartDC board.
If not the latest version, contact the Wallace
Perimeter Security service team to download new
version, update and record new version number:
28� Wiring
All field wiring should run in the provided wiring
ducts. Power supply wiring should be secured
safely in appropriate clips.
