This page is the entry point for all local (LAN, IP, H.323) and wide (ISDN, IMUX, dedicated) area networks, as
well as ATM (LAN or WAN) (Figure 8-5).

If your network interface lets you choose how to use your card, you should choose the method of operation
before
moving on to the Advanced WAN settings page.
Your Advanced WAN page may show different items depending on
what type of card you have installed.

If your LAN has enough capacity
to carry video, check this box.
All installed networks are
available for any call you make.
By selecting a call path, that
preference will be selected by
default in the Call screen.
This box displays the type of WAN
interface installed on the system. It
becomes a menu of choices if your
network interface allows more than
one way to use the card.
Check this box if you
use a different network
connection for each
port.
Select
RS-366
to send the
number being dialed from
Galaxy to an external dialer.
If you choose
Direct connect
,
Galaxy assumes the network will
make the connection.
Enter your system’s video numbers
here. These identify your system and
will appear on the Galaxy Identity and
System screens.
