6 Configure the Operation Modes

When connected to NetCom

you must define the type of terminal used. Most Telnet software
includes an emulation of a VT100 terminal, so choose this option. Also choose this option for an
ANSI emulation.

SerialPorts
defines settings related to the
serial port.
Tools
has some utilities like PING or displays statistics. In
