b) After every oil change and before putting the vehicle into normal
operation, drive without load and at a limited speed of 40 km/h, from 5
to 10 minutes, or 2 to 3 km to ensure that all the ports are properly filled
with lubricating oil.
PNEUMATIC SUSPENSION
Inspect visually the serface of the air pockets when there are signals
and irregular wear, this normally means attrition of the air pockets, what
may provoke its rapid tearing. Inpect visually the metallic base of the air
pockets because accumulation of residuals may provoke a abrasive wear
process.
If the vehicle, equipped with pneumatic suspension, lose its height when
stopped, inspect the air pockets surface using foam. Having found
out small holes, contact a Volare Representative. If the suspension
produce bumping noise apparently coming from the pocket, it is
necessary to demount the rubber part of the pocket to inspect the state
of the internal guard. This procedure should be carried out at a Volare
Representative.
Cleaning
Perform cleaning of the bases with a brush using
water and neutral soap. Never use solvents or
chemical products that may affect the rubber
parts. It is recommended to position the vehicle on
a ramp to have access to all the parts of the bases
and, therefore, perform a complete cleaning.
IMPORTANT: Tighten the nuts of the rear axle clamps (m 22 – 650 Nm)
and screws of the parabolic spring (m 30 – 1100 Nm).
IMPORTANT: First re-tightening is performed at 1 000 km and the
subsequent ones - at every 40 000 km.
