Filter and Oil Change
Oil and filter change should be carried out at the Volare Representative or at the Allison.
After the first 8 000 km and before every 160 000 km or 48 months, depending on
what occurs first. In severe conditions, change them every 80 000 km or 24 months,
depending on what occurs first. For more details see the Alliison manual.
• Precautions and maintenance: “look for this information in the Allison operator’s
manual” that accompanies the vehicle.
IMPORTANT: The transmission control system is electronic, depending
totally on TCM. TCM is the transmission control module that is directly responsible
for the gearbox operation. Only specially trained personnel is authorized to alter
its configurations.

DIFFERENCIAL GEAR
Oil Level Check in the Differecial Gear
Check oil level in the differential gear every 5 000 km. The level should come to
the neck border of the plug (1) located on the left side of the frame.
Oil Change in the Differential Gear
In the initial operating period (breaking-in), perform oil change in the differential
at 5 000 km.
This initial change is recommended to ensure removement of metallic particles,
normally freely floated in a great number at this phase.
After the breaking-in period, perform oil change according to the Preventive
Maintenance Chart.

a) Remove the plug (2). Resetting the plug, add a new gasket.
