ENGINE STOPPAGE
a) After the vehicle stoppage, reduce the engine rotations using the lower gear;
b) Let it operating during 1 minute before switching it off.
PARKING THE VEHICLE
a) Reduce the vehicle speed;
b) Look for a safe place permitted for parking;
c) Declutch the gearbox and immobilize the vehicle by means of the service
brake;
d) Activate the parking brake;
e) Switch the engine off.
PRECATIONS FOR REMOVAL THE VEHICLE FROM SERVICE
(until 12 months)
1- Remove the oil from the engine carter and fill it with anticorrosion oil Shell Ferroprot 501;
2- Start the engine and keep it for a minute at idle rotations. The oil will circulate in the
engine ducts protecting it;
3- Loosen the alternator belts;
4- Check the tyres inflation pressure, 100 lb Pol, to avoid their deformation;
5- Cover in hermetically the engine air inlet and outlet;
6- Pulverize wax-based conservation products on the chassis, engine, if necessary, on
pulverize wax on the painting of external surfaces;
7- Block with brake shoes the vehicle’s wheels to avoid its accidental dislocation and
to releave the parking brake;
8- Disconnect the battery positive and negative terminals and protect them with petroleum
jelly or grease;
9- Declutch the vehicle and keep the copling clutch in this position, blocking the clutch
fork.
INSTRUCTIONS, CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR LUBRICATING OILS CHANGE
• Checking oil level, make sure that the vehicle is leveled.
• When acquiring oils, check attentively, if the specifications are similar to the
given in the lubrications chart (chart 1).
• Fill up oil when necessary, using the same brand and type of the lubricant that
is already in the reservoir.
• If the vehicle operates in sever conditions or on dusty roads, oil changes
