IMPORTANT:
A- Primary element (5) must not be cleaned. Replace it everytime when
the warning light on the panel (1) starts glowing.
B- Do not remove, unless necessary, the filter element because this
procedure interfers with the sealing quality and also contribute to the penetration
of impurities into the engine, reducing its operation life.
A) PRIMARY FILTER ELEMENT
1- Procedure for removing of the primary filter element:
a) Remove the 3 quick-locks (2) and remove the cover (3) of the frame (4);
b) Remove the primary filter element (5), pulling and turning it;
c) Clean the internal part of the frame (4) with a humid cloth;
ATTENTION: Take care to prevent the motor entrance duct or the
secondary filter from dust and dirt.

a) At normal engine operating temperature and with the leveled vehicle, remove
the drain cap (3) and let the oil run completely down;
b) Install again the drain cap;
c) Remove the oil filter (4) and discard it;
d) Mount a new authentic filter. Do not forget to lubricate the ring gasket (5) to
avoid deformations of the filter during the mounting which cause leakage. Never
use instruments to tighten the filter. After the ring gasket installation, make other
¾ turnover;
e) Fill in with recommended oil, through the oil-feed hole, cleaning it with a brush
or solvent;
f) Make the engine operate and check for presence of eventual leakages.
