Chapter 10 Scope
New features available with the P5000 and P5000i Scope

Available only with the P5000 scope, those two keys allow to adjust
brightness and contrast of the live image (see
“Luminosity and contrast
settings” on page 151 ).
High mag./Low mag. allows to modify the live display from high to low
magnification and vice-versa
Select Full Screen with the Full Screen//Mosaic key to return to live
image.
Picture selected: Image
Save allows to save the selected picture in the
directory Scope , in the disk of the Platofrm.
Press Save key, enter a name for the jpg file
and validate. This key is not available with jpg
files other than those resulting from scope
application.
Comment allows to add a comment to the selected picture
(see “Adding a comment” on page 152 )
Overlay allows to display or hide the limits of each zone
and the defaults on image from a test result.
This key cannot be used with jpgfiles others
than those resulting from Scope application.
High mag./Low mag. allows to switch all the images from scope test
results from high to low magnification and vice-
versa.
Select Full Screen with the Full Screen//Mosaic key to display the
selected image in full screen.
Saving the test
result in a jpg
file
Once the test has been performed, and the result is displayed on the
MTS / T-BERD 4000 screen:
1 Click on Save key to save a jpg file of the test result on the disk of
the MTS / T-BERD 4000, in the directory Scope.
2 On the edition keypad, enter the name of the jpg file
3 Press Enter to validate and save the document.
The file is automatically saved on the disk, in the directory Scope .
Generating a
report
Once a test has been performed via the P5000/P5000i Microscope, a
report can be generated in a pdf document.
