Each compute node is connected to the Primary Storage Shelf with four SAS3
cables.

The compute nodes connect to each other with two Ethernet cables.

The Primary shelf has a single SAS3 port on the left side of each RAID controller
I/O module. This port connects to SAS3 port A in the Expansion I/O modules.

To connect two compute nodes to a Primary shelf

Obtain two Ethernet cables.

Identify the two Ethernet ports on the far right of the compute node rear panels.

3

Connect the cables between the ports as shown.

4

Obtain four SAS3 cables for each compute node.
