6.4 LEVEL ADJUSTMENTS
The above figure shows a top view and side view of the TLM card with the adjustment points labeled. The
side view is the view one would have if the back cover of either the Switch Bus Module (SBM) or the End
Bus Module (EBM) were removed for card adjustments. The potentiometers that are most likely to be
adjusted are available without taking the card out of the chassis.
6.4.1 TRANSMIT SIDE ADJUSTMENTS
The transmit side audio is a summation of four different audio sources – microphone audio, crosspatch
audio, single tones, and DTMF tones. The following is a list of the potentiometers that affect the transmit
path. The “Access” field identifies the potentiometers as one that is internal or external. An external
adjustment is one that can be accessed by just taking the back panel off. An internal adjustment requires
that the card be pulled out of the console to be adjusted. For internal adjustments it is recommended that an
extender card be purchased from the factory.
