5.2.2 Programming the Tone Line Module

LINE PROGRAMMING Menu
SET CARD ID Screen
From the LINE PROGRAMMING screen press the
01
button. The screen will change to the SET CARD ID
screen with the currently programmed ID shown. From this screen type in any two digit number between, and
including, 00 and 24. The 00 ID is for inactive cards. The only button that will work on an inactive card is the Instant
PTT function.
The * and # are not valid characters and the C-6124 will not allow them to be entered as ID numbers. The
CLEAR
button will clear the entry and the
RECALL LAST
button will call up the last ID number programmed.
Note that each card must have a unique ID
. The
RECALL LAST
button is provided to remind the programmer of
the last ID number programmed. At any time the SET CARD ID programming operation may be aborted by pressing
the
<<
button.
When the correct number is displayed press the
SAVE
button. When the
SAVE
button is pressed the C-
6124 will store the new ID number and read the TLM card information back. If the
SAVE
button is pressed when
there has been no modification to t he card ID number the C-6124 will reject the save request (the card already has that
address). The programming screen will revert back to the SELECTED LINE INFORMATION screen.

EDIT LINE NAMES
To edit a line name press the
02
button in the LINE PROGRAMMING screen. The ALPHANUMERIC
ENTRY screen will. The assigned line name will appear at the top of the screen. If no name has been assigned the
top of the screen will contain 12 blocks. A line name may consist of up to 12 characters from the keyboard.
<<
This button aborts the line name programming operation and brings back the menu.
SAVE
This button saves the displayed name and reads the TLM card back for verification.

This button moves the cursor one space to the left with no change to the name.
SPACE
This button provides a blank in the line name.

This button moves the cursor one space to the right with no change to the name.
