ESP®
Plus
improves driving sta bility when
necessary, independently of the type of
road surfa ce and the tyre grip. It also
includes the Traction Control function.
The system monitors vehicle m ovements.
As soon as the vehicle starts to swerve
(und ersteers / oversteers) engine output is
red uced (the sound of the engine changes)
and individual wheels are specifically
braked. This considerably im proves the
driving stability of the vehicle on slipp ery
road surfa ces.
The ESP®
Plus
is ready for op eration as soon
as the ig nition is switched on and the
control indica tor
v
extinguishes.
When the ESP®
Plus
comes into action,
v
flashes.
The v ehicle is now in a critical situation;
the ESP®
Plus
assists you to keep control of
the vehicle and rem ind s you to match your
speed to the road conditions.
Control indic ator

Illuminates in yellow for a few seconds
when ig nition is switched on. The system is
now ready for operation.
Flashing w hile driving :
This shows the system has com e into
action. The engine output may be reduced
(the sound of the eng ine changes) and the
vehicle m ay be brak ed a utoma tica lly to a
small degree.
