6.6.4 Mixer circuit with buffer cylinder (Hydraulic
plan 8)
The unregulated underfloor heating circuits are operat-
ed by the external heating circuit pump from the buffer
cylinder via a mixer. The flow temperature sensor sits
behind the external pump. The heat pump responds to a
demand for heat from the buffer cylinder.
Furthermore, the heat pump actuates the internal do-
mestic hot water cylinder.

Caution!
Error function in cooling mode!
The buffer cylinder must not be in opera-
tion during the cooling mode of the heat
pump.
Insert a motor-powered 3 way valve in
the flow and return respectively, so that
the buffer cylinder is bypassed in the
cooling mode.
