Filling the heating and heat source
systems
The heating circuit and the brine circuit must be filled
before the heat pump can be put into operation.
h
Note!
The heat pump cladding sections are
only fitted after the filling and subse-
quent bleeding of the heating circuit.
5.1
Filling the heating circuit
a
Caution!
Malfunction!
Fill the heating circuit via the integrated
filling and draining valve, so that the
heating circuit is completely bled.
Pay attention that the 3 way valves are
upright in the mid position.
• Turn on all the thermostatic valves in the heating
system.
• Connect a filling hose to a water tap.
• Fasten the free end of the filling hose to the charging
and discharging valve of the heating circuit (fig. 5.1,
item.
1
).
• Pressure the white change lever (
3
) on the motor
head of the 3-port diverter valve cooling system (
2
)
until it engages in its mid position.
Thus, both channels are opened and the filling process
is enhanced because existing air can be discharged from
the system.
• Open the filling and discharge valve of the heating cir-
cuit (
1
).
• Turn the water tap on slowly and fill with water until
the pressure gauge indicates a system pressure of ap-
prox. 1.5 bar.
• Shut off the filling and discharge valve of the heating
circuit (
1
) and unscrew the filling hose.
• Bleed the system again at the points provided.
• Re-check the water pressure in the system (repeat the
filling process if necessary).
You must now bring the 3-port diverter valve cooling
system (
2
) back to the original position. This is how to
do it:
• Remove the power cable on the motor housing of the
diverter valve (
5
).
• Detaching the motor housing (see fig. 5.2):
1. Push in the safety lever
2. Turn the motor housing around 45°
3. Detaching the motor housing
so that the spring in the valve body changes again to
the initial condition.
• Turn on the motor housing on the valve body again
and connect the power cable again.
The position of the white switch on the motor housing
of the 3-port diverter valve cooling system must now be
in the original position (fig. 5.1, item.
4
).
