Ymax feedrate limitation (only applicable for metering pumps, solenoid pumps
or continuous positioners)
Ymax has been defined in conjunction with the metering pump activation as the
feedrate limitation.
With Ymax = 100 %, the feedrate factor Y is present at the controller output. With
a large control deviation the metering pump can run in continuous mode.
With Ymax = 30 %, the calculated feedrate factor Y is present at the controller
output, however only up to the limit of 30 % pump-on-time and 70 % pump-off-
time. The control parameters correspond to an electronics dosing limit of the
positioning element.
Ymax can be set from 2 % to 100 %
Continuous output controllers:
If Ymax is set to 50 %, then the max. control signal (e.g. 20 mA) is limited to
half (10 mA).
Ymin feedrate basic load (only applicable for metering pumps, solenoid pumps
or continuous positioners)
By means of this control parameter the following control elements
- metering pump
- solenoid pump
- continuous controller
can be programmed for a basic load in the range of 0...30 %. The control element
will then regulate at least the basic load,
independent of the controller.
If the controller requires more than the basic load the feedrate can be increased
up to Ymax limitation.
The menus Ymin and Ymax limit the feed range!
